Facts of The Rohingya Christians' Risky Life

In December 2014, a Christian named Taher living in camp, though a registered refugee, was arrested by the police because of the ill information of him accusing him of being a Christian terrorist, imprisoned as illegal immigrant from Myanmar. No sooner had that incident happened than a local muslim man by the name of Baktiar Ahmed, who was then the leader of the camp called to bazaar one of the Christian community school teachers, beat him blue and black and coerced him to give him money. Furthermore Baktiar Ahmed demanded from the said Christian man 50,000 taka if he wanted to continue to live in camp if not to leave the camp. But when Nurul Salam could not pay the ransom money, Baktiar Ahmed had police arrest him and his friend Forid accusing them of as illegal immigrants from Myanmar, and imprisoned them and after four months of incarceration they were released with warnings.
